Wilding Fairbanks opened in 2025 as the first stateside location of Panorama Glass Lodge, a concept that started in Norway. The idea traveled well. Fairbanks sits 200 miles south of the Arctic Circle, directly beneath the auroral oval, which gives it a season that runs nine months, from August 20 through April 20, rather than a narrow winter window.

The property is small on purpose. Three Panorama Glass Lodges and one Deluxe Lodge, each built for two guests, cap the entire property at eight people at a time.
